The unlawful detention of Prof. G.N.Gogoi of Assam Medical College, a renowned figure of medical sciences and the hooliganism of the miscreants of a mob has caught the medical fraternity in the receiving end.The loss of insight and logical thinking is just another incident pointing to the general resentment towards the men in white. The lack of subsequent action by the concerned security network and the political drum beating has only highlighted the hand-in-gloves relationship of these morally opposing forces.
We, the medicos of SMCH condemn this dastardly act and has expressed the same in written to the Hon’ble Health Minister and DME ,Assam.We are together with the AMCians and want to press that we are going to intensify the protests if such acts are not taken note of and never repeated in future.

hey there,u ve done a great job by giving ur support to d AMCians.hope u will continue with ur support in future also if there is aneed to further intensify this agitation for the welfare of the whole doctor's community of Assam.
