Let me tell you all what I used to do in 1985-86. Would keep my beard for 3-4 weeks prior to the exams. Go out for a late night movie just 3-4 days prior. 2 days prior meet with block-mates every 2 hours stating 8 pm till 1 AM and make enough noise to make sure everybody including girls hostel inmates up and studying.
on the night - all night mugging with a bottle of black concentrated high liquor tea in fornt of the study table - that would cause visual nausea and just watching would keep you sharp as a shooter all---- night you donot have to necessarily drink it.
On the way to exam hall, keep reading OP Gupta books more to make everybody else stress out particuarly the girls.
On the day the exam would finish request a date with the current girl-friend and turn up half an hour late and drunk.
Worked for me - use with caution.
